A Pair of French 18th Century Soft-Paste Sèvres Porcelain Double Jam Pots (plateaux à deux pots), 1771.
Decorated with bleu Fallot incrusté ground and sprigs of flowers in natural colours. A service of this pattern was sold in 1771 by the Sèvres porcelain factory to the Parisian dealer Simon Poirier and a large group of these are in the collection of the late Marjorie Merriweather Post at Hillwood House, Washington DC.
