A Pair Sèvres Porcelain Bouillon Cups, 1757-58

These soft-paste porcelain pots à jus are from the service given by King Louis XV of France to Empress Maria Theresa of Austria.  Each is painted with flower garlands amongst gilt-edged green ribbons.
One with gilded and one with blue factory marks each enclosing the date letter E for 1757-8. Incised letters BO.
From the highly celebrated Galliers-Pratt Collection of French soft-paste porcelain, formed in the 1930s-1960s.
