18 Sèvres Plates from a Dinner Service made for Napoleon’s use at the Palace of Stupinigi, 1805

A set of 18 Sèvres dinner plates for which there is a drawing in the Sèvres factory archives signed by the porcelain painter Charles-Eloi Asselin. These and other associated pieces come from a dinner service purchased in January 1805 for use at the Palace of Stupinigi near Turin, Italy.
