This gobelet litron et soucoupe is of the 2nd size and has dark-blue (bleu nouveau) ground colour bands overlaid with trellis and scrollwork in gilding.  Similar birds and butterflies are painted between these bands to another cup and saucer currently in stock, dating from 1784 but with turquoise-blue panels.
