A Sèvres Porcelain Cup & Saucer, 1777

This hard-paste porcelain gobelet Litron et soucoupe of the first size is decorated with a  powder blue ground and flowers painted in a chinoiserie style to the centre of the well.  The colouring is very unusual indeed.
Crowned factory marks in puce enclosing the date- letter Z  for 1771 and the painter’s mark of D  for Decambos (active at Sèvres 1776-88).
