A Sèvres soft-paste Tobacco Jar and Cover (pot à tabac) is the same as another sold by Adrian Sassoon in 2010 to a private collector.  The flower painting on both appears to be the work of Pierre-Louis-Philippe Armand jeune (active 1749-88).  They have very fine bleu céleste ground colour as well as fine gilding imitating ribbon patterns.
