A Sèvres Tray from the Marquis de Durfort Service, 1766

This plateau Bouret from the Marquis de Durfort Ambassadorial Service is decorated with borders of alternating green, blue and gold harebells with trails of flowers, and the centre of each piece is painted with a rosette formed of four addorsed red shells surrounded by a garland of flowers. There were originally four of this shape in the service, costing 60 livres each.

Factory marks in blue enclose the date-letter N  for 1766.
