From a service ‘Zone bleu, Guirlande de feuilles de Chêne’ sold on 1st December 1791 to a merchant or banker Mr. Verdier which appears to have been destined for shipment to Holland.The plates cost 24 livres each. Subsequently from the collection of the Marquess of Crewe from the 19th century to the journalist and restauranteur Quentin Crewe (1922-98).
