A Very Rare Pair of Vincennes Pots Pourris Pompadour, 1755-56
Each marked with the factory mark, date letter C for 1755-56 and the painter’s mark M for Jean-Louis Morin. Painted with putti after engravings by François Boucher. This pair are from a very rare set of four such vases decorated with bleu lapis ground, camaieu rose putti and very intricate rococo gilding.
