A Very Rare Plate from the Service Arabesque, 1783-85

Of soft-paste porcelain, painted by Fallot, the head of the artist’s studio at the Sèvres factory.  This is a fine plate from the service Arabesque commissioned from 1782.  It was intended to be made over many years and was not completed by the time of the French Revolution.
