A Vincennes Porcelain Cheese Dish & Stand, 1753-54
Painted with monochrome blue decoration of flowers and birds – these sets do not often survive together as a proper pair. This piece was paired in the collection of Sir John Plump with another similarly-decorated in pink monochrome and they remain together.
