A Vincennes Sugar Bowl and Cover, 1754-56

This pot à sucre Calabre has a pattern more usually found on cups and saucers; waves of bleu céleste ground edged with gilt flowers and flower garlands in natural colours. Factory marks in blue with the painter’s mark of a fleur de lys for Vincent Taillandier.
