The borders moulded with a basket-weave pattern, finely painted with strongly coloured sprays of flowers. One with the date letter A for 1753-54, nine with the date letter B for 1754-55 – various painters including F. Binet and F. Le Vavasseur.

It is very unusual to find such a large number of plates from this early date which are clearly an original set.
