This large plat à roti du Roi is decorated with a green ground and painted with fruit and flowers by François le Vavasseur whose mark it bears along with the factory mark and date letter H for 1760-61.
This piece comes from a dinner service made for Jean-Joseph de Laborde, a Parisian banker. It cost 216 livres when sold from the Sèvres factory in 1761.
