This Sèvres porcelain teapot (a théière Calabre) is decorated with turquoise-blue (bleu céleste) ribbons and flowers painted in natural colours. On either side birds are painted in the reserves, depicted in natural settings and clearly attributable to Louis-Denis Armand l’aîné.
Factory marks in blue. The lid appears to be a later replacement.
