Literature
A Sèvres Cup & Saucer (gobelet Litron et soucoupe, 2nd size) green ground bands, elaborate factory mark for the bird painter Louis-Denis Armand l’aîné, date letter T for 1772.
The bird painting on this piece is exceptional. There is a historic hairline crack to the saucer.
