From a ceramic bust specially created to be cast in Bronze. Christie Brown’s figures explore the depiction of the distantly departed. Her ceramic figures could not be placed outside unlike the bronzes.
With Adrian Sassoon in 2000 Christie created her first bronze edition of a small ‘Child of Glass’ Head (edition of 10 now sold out) and in 2001 she created the bronze ‘Head from the Glyptotek’ which you can also see on this website.
