This sculpture of an opened pine cone that has distributed its seeds was made by Kate in the south of France in the spring of 2005

Fired to biscuit state in France, it was glazed with its crystalline glaze in Kate’s kiln in London

Formed by hand and therefore unique though part of a series of sculptures of this theme
