The little bottle carries the images of the kangaroo and the emu are the subject of the Australian coat of arms. The ‘Tree of Life’ is a pattern that was popular with the Chintz printers of the Coromandel Coast of south east India.

The imagery represents the colonial past of both England and France collected and put on display in museums in England and France.
