‘INTERVENTIONS: Michael Eden’ at Cheekwood Estate and Gardens presents a series of works by artist Michael Eden displayed throughout the house’s period rooms, alongside their extensive collection of objects and furniture.

Eden was inspired by his research into the history of the Cheek family and their palatial home:

“The photographs of the construction of the house showing dozens of packing crates made an impression on me, sowing the seed for the intervention to make a link between my works of art and those purchased by the Cheeks.

“My works are displayed on custom made packing crates, each with their own QR code, which allows the viewer to learn more about the work and its connection to the house.

“Like Cheekwood itself, my work has been designed on the basis of historic design principles, and each objects has been created with the latest technological advances as they are 3D printed.”
