CLARE BELFRAGE AWARDED PREMIO ARTERÌA AT VENICE GLASS WEEK 2025

Clare Belfrage was awarded for The Venice Glass Week HUB exhibition, a major show part of the Venice Glass Week, presenting with around 35 artists. Her work was shown in the Palazzo Loredan.  

The Premio Arterìa for The Venice Glass Week HUB, promoted by Arterìa and worth €1,000, was awarded to Clare Belfrage for the work In The Glow of Green, 2025.

Clare Belfrage’s work was recognised by the jury for its ability to “tell of the layering of time, life, death, decay, and regeneration – elements ever-present in the rainforest landscape. At the same time, it is a statement on the fragility of this environment, made tangible through the choice of glass as the expressive medium, rendering the work profoundly contemporary.”
