This is a very fine large saucer for a two-handled gobelet couvert à lait decorated to match with this dark blue (bleu lapis) ground colour. The piece has the factory mark of interlaced Ls but no date letter. There is however the painter’s mark P which is found on flower-decorated pieces which if dated are all from the year 1754 when this painter was active at the Vincennes factory.
