These seaux à bouteilles are painted with flowers and fruit by Armand jeune.  Some of the bouquets must be based on drawings or engravings that the painter used, since the same arrangements are seen on pieces of this size and shape made for Louis XV in the same years, painted by the same painter, now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
