A Spectacular Sèvres Porcelain Vase Hollandois, 1757-63
This vase Hollandois of the first (largest) size has the rare pink ground colour applied in bold rococo panels and is painted with garlands of flowers in natural colours by Vincent Taillandier.
This vase does not have a date letter but might date from as early as 1757 when the pink ground colour became available for use. It might however actually date from 1763 as the same scheme of decoration is known on a similar vase with dark blue ground apparently dated K for 1763.
