Two Sèvres Plates with Ballets Russes Scenes, 1913

These interesting plates are from a set of three made in 1913 at Sèvres after designs by M. Maignan. They were painted by Louis-Jules Mimard and have raised enamel decoration over unglazed porcelain with a gilded ground.
