With the factory mark in blue enclosing the date letter K for 1763, adjacent to the painter's mark for Guillaume Noël (active at Vincennes and Sèvres 1755-1807).
This teapot is decorated with the unusual pale-turquoise ground colour described as petit verd in the Sèvres factory's records. It was only produced in the early 1760s.
