Felicity Ayleiff, now a Professor of Ceramics at the Royal College of Art, makes sculptures such as this by combining porcelain ‘chips’ with coloured clay. Made in a mould, another piece of this shape has been included in the travelling exhibition of ceramics from the Jerwood Prize competition, 2001.
