This Gigantic Gourd was made by Kate Malone during the summer of 2007 for an exhibition of ‘Monumental Pots’ at COLLECT in The Victoria & Albert Museum, London, in January 2008
It was made to be as large as possible for the size of her kiln and is covered in many thousands of clay pips
