Rachael’s ‘Chosen’ series were newly made in the autumn of 2004 and are another example of how she moves on into entirely new-style work every couple of years. These are blown glass sculptures coated in colours with gilded elements.
This example, Chosen lll has a brown glass lower element set with olive coloured and gilded upper elements. The colour balance is a feature that has interested Rachael in the design of these sculptures.
