Metal sculpture by Junko Mori

Junko Mori – Artist in Residence at JamFactory, Australia

UK based metalsmith Junko Mori has just completed an extended residency at Adelaide’s multi-disciplinary art studio the JamFactory.  During her tenure, she held a series of demonstrations and  workshops for local jewellers and makers and enthusiasts. 

Her residency coincided with an exhibition of loaned artwork from public and private collections: ‘COLLECT: Visiting Nature – Junko Mori Metalwork’ will showcase highlights from Junko’s career to date. 

Junko states: ‘This is an amazing opportunity for me to experience design and making in a completely different setting.  I am looking forward to meeting new people, gaining new inspiration and reconfirming my love for what I do. I am honoured to be able to spend this time at JamFactory.’
