A Soft-Paste Sèvres Porcelain Milk Jug, circa 1763-65
This is a milk jug (pot à lait à trois pieds, 3rd size) with charming early 1760s decoration of ‘frizes riches‘. It would almost certainly have been made and sold as part of a tea service of matching pieces.
