This is an unusual set of assiettes à petits palmes with date letters ranging from 1756 to 1760. Adrian Sassoon sold a set of 28 plates of this pattern in 1999, but they are not often seen in large groups. These bear the painter’s marks of Bardet, Mme. Caton, A.-T. Cornailles, M. Fouré, V. Taillandier and L. Weydinger père.
