A Pair of Sèvres Porcelain Cups and Saucers, 1787

This pair of yellow ground cups and saucers (gobelets litron et soucoupes) of the third size are painted with scattered flowers and foliate arabesques enclosing baskets of flowers, trophies and fountains.  It is fairly rare to find a pair of unusual pieces such as these still together.  Factory marks in blue enclosing the date letters KK for 1787 and painters mark for Jean- Jacques Pierre le jeune or Anne-Victoire Pierre.
