A Sèvres Plate given by Louis XV to Maria-Thèresa of Austria, 1758

This assiette à guirlandes is decorated with interlaced green ribbons and garlands of flowers in gilt and natural colours. From the lavish dinner service given by King Louis XV of France to Empress Maria Theresa of Austria in 1758. There were 74 plates in the service sold at a price of 72 livres each.
Factory marks in blue enclosing the date-letter E; for 1758 and the unidentified painter’s mark of a 3.
