This seau à bouteille was made in 1783 as a supplement to an earlier Vincennes Dinner Service made from 1753 – 1755 hence the rococo pattern. This is one of 12 seaux bought by the Parisian dealer F.-C. Bazin at a cost of 192 livres each in 1783.
